Early Detection of Lung Cancer - A Pan Canadian Study
Thoracic surgeons at Dalhouise University are participating in a nationwide multi-center study using a combination of low dose CT scan and autofluorescence bronchoscopy to detect early stage lung cancer in current or former smokers.  By detecting lung cancer at an early stage there may be a higher likelihood of curative treatment.
